Welcome to Rest & Roast. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Rest & Roast.

Rest & Roast operates this online store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, to provide customers with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide these Services.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced in them, explain your rights and responsibilities when accessing or using our Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By visiting, browsing, interacting with, or purchasing from our website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not access or use our Services.

Section 1 – Eligibility, Access, and Accounts

By using our Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence. If you allow a minor dependent to use the Services through a device you own or manage, you accept responsibility for their use of the Services.

You may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, billing information, payment information, and shipping address. You agree that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

Customers are not required to create an account unless otherwise stated during checkout. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activity conducted through your account.

You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to another person.

Section 2 – Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display and describe our products accurately. However, product colors, measurements, appearance, packaging, and other details may differ slightly from what appears on your screen due to device settings, manufacturing updates, supplier changes, or other factors.

Some products may be sourced and shipped by third-party suppliers. Product packaging, labels, or minor design details may differ from the images displayed on our website without changing the product’s primary function.

We do not guarantee that every product will meet every customer’s personal expectations. However, this does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws or our Refund Policy.

Product descriptions, prices, availability, and specifications may be changed without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue a product or limit the quantity available to any person, household, geographic area, or jurisdiction.

You are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, sizes, materials, compatibility information, ingredients, warnings, and usage instructions before making a purchase.

Coffee, food, and other consumable products should be stored and used according to the instructions provided with the product. Customers are responsible for reviewing listed ingredients and allergen information before consumption.

Section 3 – Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase products from Rest & Roast. Your order is not accepted until we confirm it and successfully process your payment.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary. Reasons may include product unavailability, incorrect product or pricing information, suspected fraud, unauthorized payment activity, shipping restrictions, supplier or inventory problems, or violations of these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after it has entered processing or has been submitted to a supplier for fulfillment.

If we need to contact you about an order, we may use the email address, telephone number, billing address, or shipping address provided during checkout.

Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

Products purchased from Rest & Roast are intended for personal or household use unless we provide written permission for commercial resale.

Section 4 – Prices, Payments, and Billing

Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed when the order is submitted, except when there is an obvious pricing or technical error.

Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices may not include taxes, shipping fees, handling fees, customs duties, import charges, or other charges that may apply to your order. Any applicable charges will be displayed during checkout when possible.

You agree to provide accurate and complete billing and payment information. You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method, the payment information is accurate, charges made using the payment method will be honored, and you will pay all applicable product, shipping, and tax charges.

We may use third-party payment processors, including services provided through Shopify. We do not directly control how banks, card issuers, or third-party payment processors approve, decline, hold, or process payments.

Promotional codes must be used according to their stated conditions. Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied to previous purchases.

Section 5 – Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship only to locations made available during checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Processing and shipping times may vary depending on the product, supplier, destination, carrier, customs process, holidays, weather, inventory availability, and other circumstances outside our control.

Because some products may be shipped by third-party suppliers, items from the same order may arrive in separate packages or at different times.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Rest & Roast is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information submitted by the customer.

If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order enters processing.

We are not responsible for carrier or customs delays outside our reasonable control. However, customers should contact us if an order appears lost, damaged, or significantly delayed so we can review the situation.

Shipping charges and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout or explained in our Shipping Policy.

Section 6 – Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged-product claims, and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy.

You must contact us before returning an item. Do not send a return to the address printed on the original package unless we specifically instruct you to do so. The address on the package may belong to a shipping carrier or supplier and may not be an authorized return location.

Coffee, food, opened personal-care items, customized products, gift cards, hazardous materials, and items marked final sale may not be eligible for return, except when required by law or when an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after approval. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to post the refund.

Section 7 – Optional and Third-Party Tools

We may provide access to tools, applications, integrations, or services operated by third parties.

These tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not control every aspect of third-party tools and are not responsible for their separate practices, availability, security, or performance.

Your use of third-party tools is at your own discretion and may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies issued by those providers.

We may add, modify, or remove tools, features, and resources from the Services at any time.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment processors, social-media platforms, shipping providers, product suppliers, and other service providers.

We are not responsible for examining or guaranteeing the accuracy, security, content, products, services, or practices of third-party websites.

Accessing third-party websites is at your own discretion. Before completing a transaction with a third party, you should review its policies and terms.

Questions or complaints relating solely to a third party’s independent products or services should be directed to that third party. Questions regarding purchases made directly from Rest & Roast should be sent to Rest & Roast.

Section 9 – Relationship With Shopify

Rest & Roast is powered by Shopify, which enables us to operate the Services.

However, purchases made through our store are transactions directly between you and Rest & Roast. Shopify is not the seller of products offered by Rest & Roast and is not responsible for fulfilling our orders, handling our customer-service obligations, or resolving disputes between Rest & Roast and its customers.

To the extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that Shopify and its affiliates are not responsible for injury, damage, loss, claims, or liabilities resulting from products or services purchased directly from Rest & Roast.

Section 10 – Privacy

Personal information collected through our Services is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Because our Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify may collect and process information about your access and use of the Services to operate, secure, and improve the platform.

Information submitted through our store may be shared with Shopify and other service providers when necessary to operate the store, process payments, fulfill orders, prevent fraud, provide customer support, analyze store performance, or comply with legal obligations.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that information may be processed by service providers located outside your state or country, subject to applicable privacy laws.

The content available through our Services—including our business name, branding, logos, text, photographs, graphics, videos, audio, page designs, and original materials—is owned by Rest & Roast or used with permission from our licensors, suppliers, or service providers.

This content is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Services for personal and noncommercial purposes. Without written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, scrape, publicly display, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from protected content available through the Services.

Rest & Roast, Shopify, and other third-party names, logos, product names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Section 12 – Reviews and Feedback

If you submit a review, photograph, video, suggestion, comment, idea, or other content to Rest & Roast, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and distribute that content for operating, improving, and promoting our Services.

You represent that you created the content or have permission to submit it; the content is accurate based on your honest experience; the content does not violate another person’s rights; you have disclosed any compensation or incentive connected to the submission; and the content does not contain unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, or malicious material.

We may monitor, reject, edit, or remove submitted content when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of another person.

We are not required to keep feedback confidential, provide compensation for feedback, or respond to every submission.

Section 13 – Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Information available through the Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions involving product descriptions, prices, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times, availability, or other details.

We reserve the right to correct inaccurate information and update or cancel affected orders when reasonably necessary.

If an order is canceled because of an error after payment has been processed, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.

You may use our Services only for lawful purposes.

You may not use the Services to violate any law; commit fraud; submit false information; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights; harass or harm another person; transmit malware; send spam; collect personal information without authorization; bypass security or purchase limits; interfere with the Services; use unauthorized payment information; conduct prohibited resale; scrape protected content; impersonate another person; or use automated systems in a manner that disrupts or damages the Services.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

We may limit or block automated access that threatens the security, availability, integrity, or normal operation of our Services.

We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Services if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, engage in suspected fraud, threaten another person, or create a security or legal risk.

Termination does not eliminate payment obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

Provisions involving intellectual property, feedback, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, privacy, and other terms that logically should continue will remain effective after termination.

Section 17 – Disclaimer of Warranties

We work to provide accurate, reliable, and secure Services. However, except where prohibited by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free; every product will meet every customer’s subjective expectations; website information will always be completely free from errors; or every third-party service will remain continuously available.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Section 18 – Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rest & Roast and its officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.

This may include lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, replacement costs, or similar damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability when doing so would be prohibited by applicable law. Your rights under applicable consumer-protection laws remain unaffected.

Section 19 – Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rest & Roast, Shopify, and their respective affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your material violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the Services, violation of another person’s legal rights, or fraudulent or intentionally harmful activity conducted through your account.

We will provide reasonable notice of an indemnifiable claim when practicable. You agree to cooperate in the defense of such a claim.

Section 20 – Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to remain valid and enforceable.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with our posted policies and any additional terms presented during a transaction, constitute the agreement between you and Rest & Roast concerning your use of the Services.

These Terms replace previous agreements or communications concerning the same subject matter.

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written permission.

Any legal proceedings will be handled by a court with proper jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights or legal protections that require a different jurisdiction.

The current version of these Terms of Service will remain available on this page.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
